PLANT OPERATOR / GENERAL HAND

(FULL-TIME)

The Shire of West Arthur is seeking applications for the position of Plant Operator / General Hand.

 

We are looking for a person with plant operation experience who holds a current “C” drivers’ licence (HR/HC desirable) for this full-time role with our works team.

 

This position is offered at level 4 of the Local Government Industry Award 2020, depending on experience, with an opportunity for an increase after twelve months. Other benefits include the opportunity for overtime, 76 hrs per fortnight (9-day fortnight), adverse working conditions allowance and up to 10.5% super. 

 

Subsidised staff housing is available for this position. A housing allowance if required, of $60 per week is offered where the appointee is not residing in staff housing.

MECHANIC (FULL-TIME)

GARDENER

(PERMANENT PART-TIME)

The Shire of West Arthur is seeking applications for the position of Gardener.

 

We are looking for a person with gardening experience for this permanent part-time role with our works team.

 

This position is offered at level of the Local Government Industry Award 2020, depending on experience, with an opportunity for an increase after twelve months. Other benefits include the opportunity for overtime, 24 hrs per fortnight (6-day fortnight), adverse working conditions allowance and up to 10.5% super. 

 

Subsidised staff housing is unavailable for this position. A housing allowance if required, of $60 per week is offered where not residing in staff housing.
