Friends Of Collie To Darkan Rail Trail Group Inc.
The friends of the group was set up in August 2000 with the objective of constructing a trail for hikers, cyclists and horse riders along the disused railway line between Collie and Darkan. The group achieved these objectives with funds from the Lotteries Commission/Trailswest Funding Program, volunteer labour from its members and assistance from the Shires of West Arthur and Collie.
Now that construction is complete, the group will be responsible for maintaining the trail. Anyone wishing to assist in any way or to become a member, is most welcome.
Membership is $10 per annum and the group meets on the third Thursday of each month at the Buckingham Hall.
