Update on Darkan Swimming Pool
We have just received advice from Darkan Primary School that a certificate of compliance has been issued by Western Power and the relevant electrical contractor stating that the pool is safe to use. Some work was completed to address the issues. Please note, however, that the tingling sensations being experienced may re-occur on occasion, but they have been verified to be within safe parameters.
Shire team members will undertake a water test in the morning and, assuming that the results are ok, the pool will re-open tomorrow afternoon.
The school and the Shire would like to thank the wider community for its patience whilst we ensured a safe environment for all.
