Public Notice: Change of Darkan Tip Hours

Effective from 2 September 2023, there will be a change in the operating hours of the Darkan tip.  The revised schedule for the tip will be as follows: 

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 7.30am to 3.30pm

Saturday: 7.30am to 12.00pm (noon)

Please take not of these updated hours and plan your visits to the tip accordingly.  Council wishes to try these new arrangements to address an increasing number of instances of specific items being dumped illegally by non-residents of the Shire.
