Shire of West Arthur

Public Meeting

Posted on: Wednesday, 16 May 2018 at 1:52:11 PM

The future of the newest section of the Arthur River Hall has recently been discussed by the Shire and the Arthur River Hall Committee.

A report has been prepared by the Shire  with the intention of gathering all of the information pertaining to the hall (in particular the section constructed in the 1950s) into one document to allow the community to discuss the future of the hall and to enable an informed decision regarding the future of the hall to be made.

A public meeting will be held on July 25th,  7.00pm at the Arthur River Hall to discuss the options available, determine community feelings associated with the hall and outline a plan into the future.

The meeting will be chaired by the Chairperson of the Arthur River Hall Committee, Lisa Saunders.

Should there be any queries related to the document please direct these questions to Kerryn Chia (chia@wn.com.au or 0429 631044).

The report will also be available in hard copy by request from the Shire of West Arthur and will be available for viewing at the Arthur River Roadhouse.
