Environmental Health Services

Council's environmental health officer is responsible for assessment and monitoring of public and environmental health issues within the community. Duties and responsibilities include:

  • Routine premises inspections
  • Assess applications relating to onsite effluent disposal and relevant inspection at installation
  • Investigate complaints
  • Address waste management issues
  • Monitor the standard of the water at the Darkan Swimming Pool

Temporary Bridge Closures 12 Jan 2017

Glenorchy South Road Bridge will be closed from 23rd January for approximately 12 weeks. O'Connor Road Bridge will be closed from 13 March for approximately 3 weeks.
