Council's building officer is responsible for processing all building applications and relevant inspections. All buildings in the Shire must have a building license issued, excluding sheds of up to 10m² out of town site all buildings other and garden storage sheds must have a building license.

Before proceeding with any building it is advisable to check if a permit is required.
